Content Writer/ Producer

Key Deliverables Content Strategy & Creation Evolves ideas and concepts that can be used for TEC programming needs, including but not limited to talk shows, web series, learning sessions, podcasts, etc. Creates content around topical issues or seasons that will achieve TEC objectives. Provides support to the communications team by enhancing publicity initiatives. Provides support to programs and events as needed. Particularly content that will be produced by the production team. Scriptwriting Collaborate with other writers in developing and creating contents/programs for WebTV Develop materials to be used for monthly series breaker Compilation and scripting of necessary Announcements Creation of program enhancing contents for the church programs and initiatives, both offline and online churches Collaborates with the Communication team in creating Briefs and communiques Support with production of Conference and other events’ content Work closely with the digital marketing team to produce content that generates results Collaborate with other stakeholders in creating and developing Short Films and Feature films Supervises the writers ‘team in developing content for all initiatives Documentaries Podcasts Creative /Copywriting Support the core communications team with copy for the purpose of communications and publicity materials across channels where necessary. Production Management Work with the Production Manager/Directors in creating production budgets (Maintaining project budgets, quoting and estimating, demonstrating strong negotiating skills.) Production Scheduling and calendar Developing Proposals for partners on projects Expanding the Voice Artist pool for The Elevation Church Liaison between the production team and the Creative Unit of The Elevation Church (mainly for our stage productions) Serves as one of the showrunners for our shows Supervises wardrobes and performances of talents during recordings Vendor management Liaison between the production team and guests, testifiers, etc. Development Programming (for the WebTV) Organizing Cast & Crew Collaborate with the Production supervisor in location scouting Content Distribution and market strategies Skills & Knowledge Educational Qualifications & Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years ) First degree in any course, Communications preferably A verifiable certificate in Communications 4-6 years relevant experience in Communication and PR At least 2 years in Producing Functional / Technical Skills Expert knowledge of script writing and content creation Competence in using script writing tools like Final Draft, Celtx Budgeting and scheduling software Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint Project Management Basic Financial Management Understanding of basic concepts of Production Ability to manage and coordinate a production process from end-to-end Understanding of Post-Production Workflow Attitude and Behavioral Traits Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture Achievement-oriented -- enjoys taking on challenges, even if they might fail
