Job Summary
We’re seeking a proactive Content & Marketing Assistant to support the personal brand and thought-leadership work of an education leader and social impact founder. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, editing, and content repurposing, with strong skills in digital platforms and storytelling.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Repurpose core weekly content (blog, speech, podcast) into multiple formats for: LinkedIn articles & posts, Instagram captions, carousels, and reels (via Canva templates), Podcast show notes & audiograms and School blog updates
- Manage posting schedule using tools like Buffer, Later, or Meta Business Suite.
- Light editing of written drafts (grammar, clarity, tone).
- Design simple graphics (quotes, carousels, promo banners) in Canva.
- Upload podcast episodes, add metadata (title, description, tags).
- Track analytics (impressions, engagement, downloads) and prepare a simple monthly report.
- Research content trends in education + thought leadership to keep our platforms fresh.
Requirements:
- Excellent written English (clear, concise, engaging).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, and blogging platforms (WordPress or similar).
- Basic design skills in Canva (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Comfort with podcast platforms (Anchor/Spotify for Podcasters, Buzzsprout, or similar).
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks on a weekly cycle.
- Proactive communicator; comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Interest in education, child development, or social impact.
- Experience with podcast editing (Audacity, GarageBand, or Descript).
- Social media growth experience (hashtags, engagement tactics).
- Certifications in content management, Digital marketing and social media management would be an advantage
Workload & Schedule:
- Part-time (10–15 hours per week to start, with potential to grow).
- Fully remote; flexible hours as long as deadlines are met.
- Weekly check-in via Zoom/Google Meet.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly or monthly rate, based on experience.
