Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conducting research projects to understand microbial behavior and interactions.
- Designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
- Developing new medical treatments, vaccines, or diagnostic tests
- Isolating and culturing microorganisms from various samples.
- Performing laboratory tests to identify and classify microorganisms.
- Monitoring the effects of microorganisms on different organisms and environments.
- Ensuring quality control and maintaining laboratory standards.
- Identifying the microorganisms responsible for infections.
- Advising on appropriate treatments and preventative measures.
- Monitoring patients for infections and outbreaks.
- Developing strategies to control the spread of infectious diseases.
- Communicating research findings to various audiences.
- Providing expert advice on microbiological issues to organizations and the public.
- Supervising and mentoring other scientists and technicians.
- May be involved in the development of new products like enzymes, vitamins, or biofuels.
- May work in food safety, ensuring the safety of food and beverages.
- May be involved in environmental microbiology, working to control pollution or develop biofuels.
Requirement:
- MBBS is required.
- A minimum of a year of experience.
Work Schedule:
10 days on; 20 days off
