Our client, a reputable and fully accredited private healthcare institution in Ikeja, Lagos, is seeking an experienced Consultant Anaesthetist and Intensivist to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality anaesthesia care while ensuring patient comfort and optimal outcomes during surgical operations.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Administer intravenous sedation and anaesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and respiratory function throughout surgery.
- Manage postoperative recovery and pain control to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Provide expert input in managing chronic pain and critical care cases.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of perioperative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- MBBS or MD degree from a recognised medical institution.
- Completion of a residency program in Anesthesiology.
- Board Certification or equivalent qualification in Anaesthesia.
- Minimum of 7–10 years post-specialist training experience in reputable healthcare facilities.
- Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic ability, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
