Job summary
A Sales and Operations Assistant in a pharmaceutical company supports both the sales team and operational processes to ensure smooth coordination of product distribution, order processing, and customer service. The role helps improve sales efficiency, maintain proper documentation, and ensure timely delivery of pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities:
- Sales Support.
- Assist the sales team with order processing and documentation.
- Prepare sales invoices, quotations, and delivery notes.
- Maintain and update customer records and sales databases.
- Follow up on customer orders and payments.
- Receive and process customer orders accurately.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team for order fulfillment.
- Monitor delivery timelines and update customers on order status.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability and pricing.
- Address customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain positive relationships with pharmacies, hospitals, and distributors.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to monitor stock levels.
- Report low-stock items to management or procurement.
- Assist in stock reconciliation and inventory documentation.
- Compile daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain records of sales performance and product demand trends.
- Provide administrative support during sales meetings and strategy planning.
- Compliance and Documentation.
- Ensure sales operations comply with pharmaceutical regulations such as those set by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Maintain proper documentation of pharmaceutical product transactions.
- Ensure product records and distribution documentation are accurate.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma
- 0 - 1 year of previous experience in a similar role
