Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medicines accurately and safely.
- Review prescriptions and identify potential drug interactions, contraindications, dosage concerns, and other medication-related issues.
- Provide appropriate medication counselling and professional health advice to customers
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and management of pharmaceutical products.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and inventory records.
- Support procurement and timely replenishment of medicines and pharmacy products.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.
- Attend to customer enquiries professionally and provide excellent patient/customer care.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and customer information.
- Work effectively with pharmacy and healthcare team members.
- Support health education and promotional activities.
- Perform other professional duties assigned by management.
