Job summary

As the Superintendent Pharmacist, your role is to ensure that all manufacturing, distribution, and regulatory practices comply with national pharmaceutical laws. You will oversee product quality, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance, regulatory submissions, and professional ethics across all operations. As a Medical Rep, you will focus on promoting the company’s pharmaceutical products, building strong customer relationships, and driving product awareness and sales.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional leadership on all pharmaceutical matters within the company.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., FDA/NAFDAC/PCN or relevant country authorities).
  • Supervise manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to GMP, GDP, and quality standards.
  • Oversee batch release, document review, and approval of production records.
  • Maintain accurate records of drug products and stock control.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities for product registration, inspection, and audit activities.
  • Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct regular training for production, QA/QC, and warehouse staff on quality and safety procedures.
  • Ensure appropriate handling, storage, and distribution of finished products.
  • Manage recall processes and corrective/preventive action plans when required.
  • Serve as the company’s official representative for all pharmaceutical compliance matters.
  • Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets in assigned territories.
  • Organise product presentations, clinical meetings, and educational programs.
  • Maintain regular visitation schedules to hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of daily field activities.


Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Degree in a related field
  • Registered pharmaceutical license
