Responsibilities:
- Review, interpret, and dispense prescriptions accurately and legally
- Ensure correct drug selection, dosage, route, and duration of therapy
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and storage
- Monitor patient response to therapy and identify drug-related problems
- Provide clinical advice to physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient medication records and documentation
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and safety standards
- Manage inventory, storage, and quality control of medications
- Participate in health promotion, disease prevention, and public health programs
Requirments:
- Minimum of a B.Sc in Pharmacy
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and patient counselling skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Ethical judgment and professional integrity
- Basic computer and pharmacy management software skills
