Job Summary
We are looking to hire an experienced Communication Officer for our organization. The ideal candidate must be creative and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Communication Officer will be responsible for and support the organization's internal and external communications strategy by writing and disseminating publicity materials, responding to inquiries, and media (including social media), and coordinating events of the organization.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Establish a strong collaboration with management to develop, and implement an effective, efficient communication strategy based on the organization's audiences and project parameters.
- Write, edit, review, and disseminate content, including various publications, press releases, website content, social media posts, annual reports, speeches, and other marketing materials that communicate the organization’s activities.
- Maintain active records of media coverage of the organization, and collate analytics and metrics on traditional and social media engagements.
- Respond to media inquiries, arrange interviews, and act as a focal point for information on the organization.
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of a BSc in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience in a communication role.
- Strong project management skills and experience with superb attention to detail.
- An excellent storyteller, and communicator.
- Analytical and able to identify trends in the underlying data based on a defined set of a metrics
- Excellent writing, editing, and reviewing skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must be brand reputation cautious and should also be comfortable designing and executing campaigns on social media platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft software and Google cloud suites for various solutions
- Problem solver that can multitask effectively, delivering assignments on time with consistent quality.
- Experience working in a similar role with a non-governmental organization will be an added advantage.

Remuneration: NGN 100,000
