Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Translate a variety of documents (e.g., business correspondence, technical manuals, legal texts, marketing materials) from Chinese to English and/or English to Chinese.
- Interpret spoken conversations during meetings, conferences, or video calls when required.
- Ensure translations maintain the original tone, style, and intent.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of translated materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify meaning and context.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials.
- Stay up-to-date with industry terminology and language trends.
- Use translation memory tools and dictionaries effectively.
Requirements:
- A valid certification in Chinese translation/interpreting
- Fluency in written and spoken Chinese
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in translation or interpretation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Remuneration: NGN 200,000
