Job Summary
The Chief Security Officer (CSO) will be responsible for overseeing the safety and security of the MD/CEO, high-profile executives, corporate assets, and business operations. The CSO will develop and implement security strategies, risk assessments, executive protection measures, and crisis response plans to ensure the highest level of safety and operational continuity.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Executive Protection & Personal Security:
- Lead protective operations for the MD/CEO and high-profile executives across multiple locations.
- Conduct threat assessments and vulnerability analysis for both personal and business security.
- Implement counter-surveillance measures to prevent security breaches.
- Coordinate with government security agencies, private security firms, and intelligence units for situational awareness.
- Ensure secure transportation, including defensive driving protocols and escort teams.
Corporate Security & Risk Management:
- Develop and implement security policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and emergency response plans.
- Ensure comprehensive security coverage across all and affiliated properties of the organization.
- Oversee CCTV monitoring, access control, perimeter security, and alarm systems.
- Work closely with IT security teams to prevent cyber threats and information breaches.
- Regularly conduct risk assessments and advise on security infrastructure improvements.
Crisis Management & Emergency Response:
- Develop and lead incident response teams to handle emergencies, including kidnap threats, violent attacks, fire outbreaks, and protests.
- Ensure business continuity planning (BCP) to mitigate operational disruptions.
- Train staff on emergency procedures, first aid, and evacuation drills.
- Handle high-risk situations professionally, including conflict resolution and law enforcement coordination.
Team Leadership & Security Oversight:
- Manage and coordinate security teams, armed personnel, and intelligence officers.
- Train and equip security personnel with modern security tactics, surveillance techniques, and defensive operations.
- Ensure security personnel maintain professional presence, discipline, and integrity.
- Oversee background checks and vetting processes for key employees.
Compliance & Legal Coordination:
- Ensure security operations comply with Nigerian security laws and international best practices.
- Work with legal teams to handle security-related legal matters.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in security management, law enforcement, military, or intelligence services.
- Experience in executive protection, corporate security, and crisis response.
- Proven background in handling Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWIs).
