Function description

We're seeking a First Mate (Offshore Adventure Seeker) to join our crew and be a key part of thrilling offshore expeditions in Nigeria. This concerns a permanent position and your visa will be arranged by the company.

Your role in a nutshell:

• Navigate the Unknown: Be our guiding star on the open sea, ensuring safe passages, and charting courses through uncharted waters.
• Crew Maestro: Lead and coordinate the crew, ensuring safety procedures are followed while maintaining top-notch efficiency.
• Regulatory Wizard: Navigate maritime regulations, ensuring compliance with safety codes and standards.
• Safety Champion: Take charge of safety, conduct emergency drills, and lead the way in crisis situations to protect the crew.
• Communication Maestro: Keep the lines of communication open between the crew, captain, and operations team.

Requirements

• Certificate of Competence Chief Officer
• Valid Sea Going Certificates
• Valid Seafarer's Medical and Seaman's Book
• Passport
• Fluent Dutch and fully proficient English speaker.
