Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non- routine chemical analysis of all incoming raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
- Perform and report daily water analysis
- Involvement in water treatment to improve the quality of our water plant.
- Ability to perform tests using the HPLC, UV-VIS spectrophotometer, Dissolution apparatus, etc., to verify compliance with specifications
- Retesting of existing raw materials in the warehouse
- Document and interpret reports in compliance with NAFDAC/PCN and other regulatory body requirements.
- Develop and update test specification in line with USP/BP and IN-HOUSE standards
- Perform analytical method validation, protocol, and report
- Participate in investigations during OOS and OOT
- Support the research and development unit on new/existing product formulations
- Laboratory inventory control: reagents and consumables management
- Raw material retention sample management
- Perform analysis on real-time and accelerated stability samples
- Possesses Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) skills
- Generally well-versed in QC operations.
Requirement:
- Minimum BSC
- 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
