A Health Coach supports individuals in achieving their wellness goals by guiding healthy lifestyle choices, including nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and overall well-being. The role focuses on educating, motivating, and empowering clients to adopt sustainable, healthy habits.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assess clients’ current health status, lifestyle, and wellness goals
- Develop personalized health and wellness plans
- Provide guidance on balanced nutrition and healthy eating habits
- Support clients in improving physical activity and fitness routines
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed
- Educate clients on preventive health and lifestyle management
- Offer motivation, accountability, and continuous support
- Conduct one-on-one or group coaching sessions.
Requirements:
- Background in Nutrition, Health Sciences, or related field (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for health, wellness, and helping others
- Basic knowledge of nutrition and lifestyle management
- Ability to motivate and inspire people
- Certification in Health Coaching (added advantage)
