Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a talented Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Fireblocks platform and cryptocurrency ecosystems to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure digital asset infrastructure that powers our blockchain operations.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on experience with Fireblocks API integration, cryptocurrency wallet management, and blockchain security protocols with a strong understanding of distributed systems and financial compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Fireblocks Platform Management

• Design, implement, and maintain Fireblocks infrastructure for secure digital asset custody, transfer, and settlement operations
• Integrate Fireblocks API with existing systems and applications, ensuring seamless transaction workflows
• Configure and manage Fireblocks workspace policies, transaction authorization rules, and multi-signature governance frameworks
• Optimize Fireblocks vault architecture and implement best practices for key management and asset segregation

Cryptocurrency Operations

• Build and maintain cryptocurrency wallet infrastructure across multiple blockchain networks (Bitcoin, Ethereum, EVM-compatible chains, etc.)
• Implement automated workflows for digital asset deposits, withdrawals, and settlement processes
• Monitor blockchain networks and transaction status, ensuring timely confirmations and resolution of stuck transactions
• Manage gas optimization strategies and fee estimation algorithms for cost-effective transaction execution

Security & Compliance

• Implement comprehensive security controls aligned with industry standards for digital asset custody
• Establish audit logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for transaction anomaly detection
• Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory adherence (AML, KYC, travel rule compliance)
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing for blockchain-related infrastructure
  

Integration & Development

• Develop APIs and microservices integrating Fireblocks with internal platforms and third-party services
• Build automated reconciliation systems for blockchain transactions and internal ledgers
• Create dashboards and reporting tools for real-time visibility into digital asset operations
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for blockchain infrastructure deployment and configuration management
  

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work cross-functionally with product, finance, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Create comprehensive technical documentation for Fireblocks configurations, workflows, and operational procedures
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on blockchain technologies and best practices
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting for production blockchain systems
  

Required Qualification

Technical Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Fireblocks platform (API integration, vault management, policy configuration)
• Strong expertise in cryptocurrency protocols and blockchain networks (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Layer-2 solutions, etc.)
• Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Node.js, TypeScript, or Go for blockchain application development
• Experience with cryptocurrency wallet management, HD wallet derivation, and address generation
• Knowledge of blockchain explorers, transaction monitoring, and on-chain analytics tools
• Understanding of cryptographic primitives: digital signatures, hash functions, encryption schemes
  

Platform & Infrastructure

• Experience with RESTful API design and integration with external blockchain services
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying blockchain infrastructure
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes for containerized application deployment
• Knowledge of database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) for transaction record management
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for automated deployments
  

Blockchain Knowledge

• Deep understanding of blockchain consensus mechanisms (PoW, PoS, BFT variants)
• Knowledge of smart contract platforms (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche)
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols and decentralized exchange integrations
• Understanding of gas mechanics, transaction nonce management, and RBF/CPFP techniques
• Awareness of blockchain security threats and mitigation strategies
