Job summary
The Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance, maintenance, and overall lifecycle of the company’s assets, particularly energy infrastructure such as mini-grid systems. The role focuses on ensuring that all assets operate efficiently, safely, and profitably while maximizing their value over time.

Requirements:
- Design and implement an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures.
- Examine the levels of materials and supplies to determine shortages.
- Collate and document daily shipments and deliveries to reconcile inventory.
- Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels.
- Evaluate new inventory, ensuring it’s ready to ship.
- Properly order new supplies, avoiding excessive surplus or inefficiencies
- Analyze various suppliers to ensure the company is receiving the best cost-effective deals.
- Collaborate with inventory employees to ensure business goals are met.
- Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
- Monitor demand and analyze data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
- Report on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency, and personnel issues to upper management.
- Manage store/warehouse keepers at all locations
- Maintain the ERP tool and ensure reconciliation of all inventories
Requirements:
- B.SC/HND in asset management, business administration, or any related field
- 3-4 years’ experience in Asset Management.
- Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.
- An analytical mind with strong calculation skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be attentive and have great eyes for details.
- Must be reliable and trustworthy.
