Job summary
Mimmi Kasu is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented accountant to support the financial operations of our growing fashion brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day finances, bookkeeping, budgets, cash flow, payroll support, vendor payments, inventory costing, and financial reporting. This role is important in ensuring the profitability and smooth running of our collections, production, retail, and online sales operations.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
- Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
- Track production and inventory costs across collections
- Manage supplier payments, customer invoices, and outstanding receivables
- Support payroll processing and staff expense management
- Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, tax, and statutory filings
- Monitor spending and provide recommendations to improve profitability
- Produce reports on sales, margins, inventory, and collection performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting, possibly in fashion, retail, e-commerce, or manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, budgeting, tax, and inventory accounting
- Proficiency in Excel and software such as Shopify, Zoho Books, and QuickBooks
- Professional certification is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and analytical skills
Remuneration: NGN 200,000 - 300,000
Note: This is an onsite role, Monday to Friday, 9 am-6 pm
