Job summary

Nkoyo Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support sound financial decision-making. Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and general accounts.
  • Record and process daily financial transactions promptly and accurately.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Generate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Prepare and file tax returns while ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts regularly.
  • Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
  • Support budget preparation, financial planning, and forecasting activities.
  • Assist management by providing accurate financial analysis and reports for decision-making.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant accounting experience.
  • Minimum of an OND in accountancy, business administration, economics, or any related discipline.
  • Professional accounting certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ATS) is an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.

  • Accuracy of financial records and reports.
  • Timely preparation and submission of financial reports.
  • Compliance with tax and statutory obligations.
  • Timely completion of bank reconciliations.
  • Reduction in financial errors and audit findings.
  • Effective management of accounts receivable and payable.


Remuneration: NGN 300,000 Monthly
