Job summary
Nkoyo Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support sound financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience maintaining accurate financial records in a structured business environment.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and general accounts.
- Record and process daily financial transactions promptly and accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Generate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Prepare and file tax returns while ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts regularly.
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Support budget preparation, financial planning, and forecasting activities.
- Assist management by providing accurate financial analysis and reports for decision-making.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant accounting experience.
- Minimum of an OND in accountancy, business administration, economics, or any related discipline.
- Professional accounting certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ATS) is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.

- Accuracy of financial records and reports.
- Timely preparation and submission of financial reports.
- Compliance with tax and statutory obligations.
- Timely completion of bank reconciliations.
- Reduction in financial errors and audit findings.
- Effective management of accounts receivable and payable.
Remuneration: NGN 300,000 Monthly
