Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the microfinance bank.
- Ensure full compliance with regulations and guidelines issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria and other relevant authorities.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the bank’s customer base, deposits, and loan portfolio.
- Supervise and lead staff to ensure high performance and efficient service delivery.
- Manage credit administration, including loan evaluation, approval processes, and monitoring of loan repayments.
- Prepare and present financial and operational reports to senior management and the board.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, local businesses, and community stakeholders.
- Ensure proper internal controls, risk management, and adherence to the bank’s policies and procedures.
- Promote the bank’s financial products and services to support small businesses and individuals.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a degree in business or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience.
