Job Description/Requirements

POSITION SUMMARY: The Accounting Team Lead serves as the primary ITA Group (the Company) accounting point of contact for International Travel Associates (the Subsidiary), ensuring the Subsidiary is adequately supported from an accounting perspective by the Company at all times. The Team Lead provides oversight to routine transaction processing, support to billing and reconciliation of client programs, and leadership in compilation of timely and accurate financial statements and forecasting documents. The Team Lead maintains a positive and professional relationship with team members of International Travel Associates and is the Company’s accounting leader in serving the Subsidiary for all accounting items with the exception of payroll. The Team Lead will also support the ITA Group corporate accounting department as directed by department leadership.HIRING REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related major with twelve semester hours of accounting to include one cost accounting course. A minimum of 4 years of accounting related work experience. Ability to train and give work direction to team members. Ability to organize work and manage several projects simultaneously to meet established deadlines. Ability to apply analytical thinking and ability to communicate this to others in an understandable fashion. Advanced Excel skills, complemented by strong understanding and proficiency with accounting systems. Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with an emphasis in solution development. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial, organizational, and personnel information. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to represent ITA Group with professionalism in interacting with internal and external clients. Professional and positive attitude. Ability to listen, understand and respond to external and internal customers’ needs in a timely manner; customer service experience in a service-related industry preferred. Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines.
