Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our company’s financial records, transactions, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely reconciliation, and compliance with internal financial policies and statutory requirements.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Post daily transactions and reconcile accounts (bank, cash, and ledger).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor budgets, track expenses, and report any financial discrepancies.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Process payroll and maintain employee payment records.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, including VAT, PAYE, and WHT filings
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial operations and controls.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 2–4 years accounting experience, preferably in retail, FMCG, or related industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho Books).
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
- Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA in view or part-qualified) is an advantage.
Remuneration: ₦180,000 – ₦200,000 monthly, based on experience and qualifications.
