Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements (Income Statement, Statement of Financial Position, Cash Flow)
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare budgets and track expenses
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions
• Handle inventory and fixed asset accounting
• Manage payroll accounting and statutory payments
• Initiate payment requests and confirm bookings

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Registered student or member of ICAN/ACCA/ANAN/CFA/CFE/CISA
• At least 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, with experience in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP, etc.), financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookup
• A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Integrity, strong sense of accountability and responsibility, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
