Job Summary
An Accounting & Business Advisory intern will assist our team in managing the financial health of our firm, assisting our process automation drive, complying with all regulatory requirements and supporting the growth of our firm. We are looking for individuals who are willing to apply their accounting knowledge to improve the outcome of the company

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, and financial statements for the organization as well as it clients
- Assist with accounting duties such as journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support the execution of accounting services for SME and MSME clients
- Support periodic filling with appropriate regulatory authorities (SEC, FIRS and IRS)
- Understand and apply tax minimization strategies that may benefit client portfolios
- Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and improvements
- Oversee the delivery of tax services to clients – this includes reviewing individual tax returns for their employees (including CEOs and key decision-makers), developing effective tax minimization strategies, identifying tax planning opportunities to minimize tax costs and managing client relationships
- Willingness to improve knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and multi-jurisdiction tax laws
- Display proficiency in working with relevant accounting software
- Any other duties may be assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of an HND/BSc in Accounting or any other related discipline

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a must
