Security Officer

Responsibilities:

• Patrol hotel premises regularly, including entrances, exits, hallways, and parking areas.
  
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to detect suspicious activity.
  
• Control access to the property, checking identification of visitors, vendors, and contractors as required.
  
• Respond quickly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies.
  
• Escort guests or staff to parking areas or other parts of the premises if needed.
  
• Report any security breaches, hazards, or unusual occurrences to management immediately.
  
• Write clear and detailed incident reports and maintain security logs.
  
• Work closely with front office, maintenance, and management teams to ensure guest safety.
  
• Enforce hotel policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service.
  
• Assist in evacuation or emergency drills and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in security. 
  
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  
• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
  
• Knowledge of basic security protocols and emergency response procedures.
  
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in high-pressure situations.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Must be trustworthy, disciplined, and punctual.
  
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
