We are looking for an accomplished transaction manager to oversee the brokerage unit of a leading commercial real estate services firm. The primary core objective of the Transaction Manager is to successfully manage sales & leasing transactions and effective team management.

Transaction Manager Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain spreadsheets in order to monitor all transactions from origination to execution.  
  • Track and manage all closing documents using a transaction checklist to ensure continuity, proper communication and documentation. 
  • Managing transactions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with the executive team to meet strategic objectives.
  • Review legal agreements and other documentation.
  • Submit all necessary documentation to the office administrator for file compliance.
  • Prospecting new client relationships, and networking with other industry professionals
  • Negotiating exclusive listing agreements, and purchase and sales agreements
  • Oversee transaction service delivery
  • Coordinate and manage transaction teams
  • Determine clients' needs and communicate project parameters
  • Independently manage and execute complex, large, mid-size, and small transactions with high levels of proficiency and knowledge while adhering to the company’s processes and standards for expertise and professionalism
  • Gather economic, demographic, and real estate market data for input into project-specific deliverables
  • Obtain and review, and occasionally prepare, Broker Opinion of Value
  • Manage the preparation of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, signage, email alerts, etc.
  • Actively monitor the progress of assigned transactions as well as those of direct reports, if applicable
  • Mentor and assist junior transaction team members

Transaction Manager Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, finance, economics or related field, Masters or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and extensive Transaction or Project Management experience
  • Proven success in lease/purchase and sale negotiations
  • Excellent negotiating, analytical, communication, collaboration, organizational/planning, and reporting skills
  • Outstanding client service skills
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships
  • A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and excellence-driven professional environment
