Job summary
The Technical Sales Engineer will provide technical support and expertise during client engagements, working closely with the Sales & Business Development Executive to drive successful sales outcomes. The role involves understanding customer requirements, presenting technical solutions, and ensuring alignment with company telecoms and cloud service

Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the Sales/Business Development Executive to understand client needs and tailor technical solutions
- Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, and presentations
- Conduct product demonstrations for telecom and cloud-based services
Client Engagement:
- Accompany the Sales/ Business Development Executive to client meetings
- Clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Provide expert advice on telecom infrastructure, cloud services, and related solutions
Solution Design & Implementation Support:
- Design scalable and cost-effective solutions based on customer requirements
- Liaise with internal technical teams to ensure feasibility and proper deployment
- Support initial implementation and onboarding processes where required
Product Knowledge & Advisory:
- Maintain deep knowledge of company offerings, including: Cloud services (IaaS, SaaS, Direct Connect, backups, hosting), Internet services (fiber, wireless, dedicated links), Enterprise telecom solutions (VoIP, VPN, connectivity solutions)
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings
Proposal & Documentation:
- Develop detailed technical documentation and bills of quantities (BoQ)
- Assist in preparing RFP/RFQ responses
- Ensure accuracy in solution costing and technical specifications
Post-Sales Support:
- Assist in resolving client technical issues where necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Telecoms Company, with focus on: Cloud services, Internet, and enterprise connectivity solutions
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cloud, Networking) will be an added advantage
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and telecom infrastructure
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for clients
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Customer-focused with a commercial mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams
- Willingness to attend frequent client meetings
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism
