Responsibilities:
Deliver Digital Skills Training:
- Facilitate engaging digital literacy and technology classes for children, teenagers, and young adults.
- Teach foundational and intermediate digital skills, including computer literacy, internet navigation, document creation, graphic design, and introductory coding.
- Develop and improve lesson plans, workshops, and training materials that support different learning styles.
- Ensure learners build practical skills they can apply confidently in academic and professional settings.
Manage the Digital Skills Lab:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the CAIN Digital Skills Lab.
- Ensure all equipment, including laptops, projectors, internet devices, routers, and televisions, remains functional and secure.
- Establish systems and procedures that promote responsible use of technology resources.
- Create a welcoming and engaging learning environment.
Provide Technical Support:
- Support CAIN's digital operations by identifying and implementing practical technology solutions.
- Monitor and update the organization's website to ensure information remains accurate and accessible.
- Troubleshoot internet connectivity and other digital infrastructure challenges.
- Recommend tools and systems that improve efficiency.
Mentor and Support Students:
- Build positive relationships with learners and support their individual growth journeys.
- Encourage creativity, collaboration, and confidence in technology.
- Guide students through projects that strengthen their practical skills and portfolios.
- Foster a learning environment where students feel supported and empowered.
Lead Program Development:
- Collaborate with the education team to design and improve digital learning programs.
- Organize coding challenges, technology projects, exhibitions, and other learning experiences.
- Introduce relevant emerging technologies and global trends into training programs.
- Help expand the reach and impact of CAIN's digital education initiatives.
Support Partnerships and Resource Mobilization:
- Research grants, scholarships, competitions, and partnership opportunities.
- Contribute to fundraising efforts that support technology education programs.
- Build relationships with organizations, institutions, and industry partners.
- Identify opportunities that increase student exposure and access to resources.
Monitor Program Growth:
- Track and evaluate program outcomes.
- Prepare reports that demonstrate impact and identify areas for improvement.
- Use data to strengthen future programs.
- Represent CAIN's technology initiatives at community events and professional gatherings when required.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Education, or a related field.
- Two to five years of experience teaching digital skills, particularly to teenagers or young adults.
- Knowledge of website management, including WordPress, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Experience using design tools such as Canva, CorelDRAW, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience managing digital learning environments, technology equipment, or computer labs.
- Strong curriculum development and lesson planning skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and mentoring abilities.
- Experience in fundraising, grant writing, partnership development, or educational program support.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and digital collaboration platforms.
- A genuine passion for education, technology, and community impact.

Remuneration: NGN 200,000 – 400,000
