The Materials Lead III is responsible for managing and expediting the flow of materials, equipment, parts, and assemblies across project sites in line with operational priorities and delivery schedules. The role oversees inventory management, material movement, equipment repairs, and computerized material records to ensure efficient plant operations and supply chain performance.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the movement of materials, equipment, and parts between internal departments and project sites.
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate inventory, delivery, shipping, storage, and material tracking records.
- Manage SAP material catalogues and ensure data accuracy for efficient inventory and procurement processes.
- Coordinate the repair, refurbishment, and assembly of company-owned materials and equipment.
- Monitor material transportation and ensure timely delivery to support project execution.
- Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and materials management standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory control, stock availability, and material planning.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and Project teams to support project delivery.
- Perform additional materials management activities as assigned by the Project Manager or Site Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6–10 years of experience in materials management within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of materials management and supply chain processes within the oil and gas industry.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP material catalogues and search tools.
- Good understanding of industrial equipment, plant materials, and their applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong time management and ability to influence teams across multiple functions
- Proven experience managing inventory, material logistics, and equipment records.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SAP materials management modules and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of quality control systems and materials handling procedures.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced on-site environment.
Remuneration: NGN 150,000 – 200,000.
