Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing individual and corporate tax returns.
- Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and updates.
- Support tax consultants in client meetings and correspondence.
- Maintain and organize tax-related documentation and reports.
- Assist in processing tax payments and ensuring compliance with deadlines.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights on tax liabilities.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development activities.
- Perform other administrative and support tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles.
- Proximity to Lekki Phase 1 or ability to reliably commute is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
