Job summary
We seek to hire a Stoke keeper to join our team.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory received and issued.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or delivery notes.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of items in the store.
- Issue materials or products based on authorized requisitions.
- Track stock levels and report low, excess, or damaged inventory in the store.
- Conduct regular stock counts and support periodic physical inventory verification.
- Monitor expiry dates and report slow-moving or obsolete items.
- Ensure proper handling and safekeeping of inventory to prevent loss, damage, or theft.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the store area.
- Collaborate with the accounts and procurement officer for inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal control procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory, or warehouse operations is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good record-keeping and reporting ability.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accountability.
- High level of integrity and responsibility.
Location: Siluko Road, Benin City, Edo State.
Work Mode: Onsite, Full-time.
