Zed is Hiring: Senior Product Growth Marketer (Fintech)
At Zed, we’re building a simpler, smarter financial platform for Nigerians.
We are looking for a Senior Product Growth Marketer to own and build our growth engine from 0 → scale.
This is a 0→1 role, and you will not inherit a working system. You will design, test, and scale growth from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
•
Own and execute Zed’s end-to-end growth strategy
•
Design and optimize user acquisition funnels (including waitlists)
•
Define and improve activation and onboarding experience
•
Drive retention and engagement strategies
•
Run structured growth experiments across the funnel
•
Define key growth metrics (activation, retention, CAC, etc.)
•
Shape product positioning and messaging
•
Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to embed growth into the product
•
Set up analytics, reporting, and growth playbooks
What We’re Looking For
•
5+ years in Growth / Product Marketing
•
Experience building and scaling early-stage products
•
Strong understanding of full-funnel growth (acquisition → retention)
•
Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
•
Strong product thinking (not just campaign execution)
•
Data-driven with hands-on execution ability
•
Excellent communication and storytelling skills
Bonus (Strong Advantage)
•
Fintech or payment experience in African markets
•
Experience launching products from 0 → traction
Tools:
You should be comfortable working across:
Analytics: GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude
Web: Webflow, Framer
Lifecycle: Mailchimp, HubSpot, ConvertKit
Experimentation: A/B testing tools
Data: Google Sheets / Excel (advanced)
Content and Distribution:
Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp (early channels)
Canva, Figma

Growth experiments running across acquisition and onboarding
•
Early traction signals (conversion, engagement, retention)
Why This Role Matters
You will play a key role in taking Zed from 0 to its first meaningful user base, working directly with the CEO and closely with Product & Engineering.
