Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical systems, including but not limited to Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Firefighting, and other piping-related services.
- Prepare mechanical bills of engineering quantities and specification documents.
- Lead and supervise the implementation of mechanical systems on-site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, installation methods, and safety regulations.
- Provide technical leadership by addressing installation-related queries and reviewing contractor submissions to ensure materials meet approval standards.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Attend project meetings, conduct site inspections, and verify adherence to mechanical design specifications.
- Oversee testing and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with contract agreements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- COREN certification is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and mechanical simulation software.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers and oversee projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
