Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial activities, including general accounting, cost accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate financial records, accounting systems, procedures, and controls.
- Generate timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analysis.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, track variances, and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure sufficient cash flow to meet business demands and manage banking activities.
- Analyze financial data, identify risks, and suggest solutions.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Manage internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop and implement financial strategies and policies.
- Act as a key finance business partner to various departments, providing financial insights and support.
- Contribute to and implement financial strategy, influencing business decisions and operational improvements.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable business plans.
- Develop and monitor business performance metrics.
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Manage and develop a team of finance professionals.
- Promote financial soundness and profitability within the business unit.
- Drive operational excellence within the finance department.
- Manage HR functions for the finance department.
- Manage relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience
- BSc. Degree in Finance or Accounting
