Job summary
The scaffolder is responsible for erecting, maintaining and dismantling scaffolding structures at construction sites, ensuring safe and stable platforms for workers and materials. The role emphasizes compliance with safety regulations, quality workmanship, and timely completion of scaffolding tasks to support construction activities.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Erect, maintain, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to engineering drawings, site plans, and safety regulations.
- Inspect scaffolding materials and components for defects and ensure structural stability.
- Assemble and secure scaffolding using appropriate tools, fasteners, and safety equipment.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, construction workers, and engineers to meet project requirements.
- Ensure all scaffolding work complies with occupational health and safety standards.
- Assist in moving materials and equipment safely around scaffolding structures.
- Report hazards, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions to the site supervisor.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in an organized and safe manner.
- Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and site procedures at all times.
- Support other construction site activities as needed.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an SSCE.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in this roleĀ
