Interior Architect

Responsibilities:

• Space Planning: Develop functional and aesthetically pleasing floor plans and layouts for residential and commercial interiors.
  
• Concept Creation: Create mood boards, 2D/3D visualisations, and material palettes that align with Stone & Grout’s commitment to "bold design ideas".
  
• Technical Drawing: Produce detailed construction drawings, including floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans (RCPs), and custom joinery/tile details.
  
• Material Selection: Research and specify high-quality materials, focusing on tiles, bathroom fittings, and thoughtful finishes.
  
• FF&E Procurement: Identify, source, and select furniture, fixtures, and equipment that meet project budgets and design standards.
  
• Vendor Management: Communicate with local and international suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of specialised items.
  
• Construction Oversight: Work closely with the construction and installation teams to ensure on-site execution matches the design intent and quality standards.
  
• Client Communication: Lead design presentations

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create thoughtful and functional layouts
• Understanding of Architecture principles and experience with Construction Drawings
• Knowledge of FF&E selection, sourcing, and specification
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for team and client interaction
• Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other design applications is mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Work experience in interior design, architecture, or construction is preferred
