Sales Executive
Job summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Executive to grow our customer base and increase sales of pumps, pumping systems and related water-engineering solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across residential, commercial, construction, industrial and public-sector markets.
- Generate leads through prospecting, referrals, site visits, networking, digital enquiries and industry relationships.
- Engage property developers, contractors, consultants, facility managers, architects, MEP professionals, distributors and end users.
- Understand customers’ water-supply and pumping requirements and coordinate with the technical team to recommend appropriate products and solutions.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, product information and commercial offers.
- Conduct product presentations and attend client meetings, project sites, exhibitions and relevant industry events.
- Negotiate prices and commercial terms in line with company policies and profitability targets.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations and outstanding payments to ensure timely conversion and collection.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, customer interactions and sales activities.
- Build long-term customer relationships and generate repeat business, referrals and cross-selling opportunities.
- Monitor competitors, pricing trends and market developments, providing useful feedback to management.
- Work closely with the engineering, operations, inventory and customer-service teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Support distributors and channel partners within assigned territories.
- Achieve agreed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Submit regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates and performance reports.
- Promote the company’s commitment to quality products, sustainable solutions and excellent after-sales support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Two to four years of relevant sales or business-development experience.
- Experience selling pumps, engineering equipment, building services, construction materials, water-treatment products or other technical solutions is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline and meet revenue targets.
- Good understanding of consultative or solution-based selling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or sales-tracking tools.
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits would be advantageous.
