Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and seat customers in a warm and professional manner.
- Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining excellent service standards.
- Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure dining tables are clean, organised, and properly set before and after service.
- Process customer payments and issue receipts where required.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Restock service stations and assist with opening and closing duties.
- Perform other duties assigned by the restaurant manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an SSCE or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, café, fast-food outlet, or hospitality environment is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Friendly, courteous, and well-groomed appearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling bills and payments.
Remuneration: NGN 70,000 Monthly
