Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute proactive PR strategies to enhance brand awareness, thought leadership, and media presence.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with journalists, influencers, media outlets, and PR agencies. Secure press coverage, interviews, and media opportunities.
- Lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing communication plans that align with product launches, campaigns, and corporate initiatives.
- Write and edit press releases, media kits, blog posts, executive speeches, and other communication materials.
- Support crisis management efforts and create response plans in alignment with corporate reputation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (digital, product, events) to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all channels.
- Track, analyze, and report PR and communications performance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or marketing communications.
- Proven track record of securing high-impact media coverage and delivering successful PR campaigns.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Experience with PR tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater), media databases, and analytics platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
Location: Lekki Phase I
Remuneration: NGN 500,000 - 600,000
