Digital Media Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Source and publish breaking UK and international news stories across all platforms.
• Create and post content on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube Shorts, Threads, Snapchat Spotlight, Telegram Channel, and WhatsApp Channel
• Posting on the official SpillNation UK Website
• Edit and post videos, photos, and short-form clips.
• Blur sensitive visuals, mute prohibited sounds, and adjust layouts for different platforms.
• Write catchy captions, headlines, and hashtags that reflect our brand’s tone.
• Engage with trending topics, memes, and celebrity gossip in real time.
• Schedule and monitor posts using Meta Business Suite, TikTok, and other tools.
• Report daily analytics and audience engagement insights.
• Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

• Must have excellent knowledge of UK news, gossip, and celebrity culture.
• Strong Canva design skills, must be able to create clean, attractive posts quickly.
• Proficiency in video editing (CapCut, InShot, Premiere Rush, or similar).
• Ability to blur images, mute sounds, and edit clips to meet social media policies.
• Excellent understanding of all major social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, X, Snapchat, YouTube, Threads and any other assigned.
• Must be highly computer literate, comfortable with online tools, file sharing, and multitasking.
• Skilled in online research, can fetch trending stories, confirm facts, and find verified sources.
• Excellent English communication (written and spoken).
• Reliable, organized, and able to meet daily deadlines.
• Minimum qualification: OND
• At least 2 years of experience

Other Essential Requirements:

• Valid International Passport, required for verification
• Must live in a location with access to all major internet providers and fast, reliable connectivity.
• Must have a good power supply or the ability to accommodate company-provided power equipment and gadgets.
• Must have a dedicated workstation space at home, quiet and professional for online meetings.
• Willing to work full-time on a shift schedule (pattern to be disclosed later) with daily reporting and breaks.
• Must be available to start immediately after selection and verification.
• Must be willing to undergo security and document verification through appropriate authorities (including DSS vetting if required).
• Required to submit and verify all employment documentation, including:
• Valid Government-issued ID (e.g., International Passport)
• Proof of Address (utility bill, bank statement within 1 month, photo of residence)
• Next of Kin details
• Guarantor form (preferably a family member with the same surname)
• Reference letter (from previous employer, lecturer, via official email only)
• Medical report and general wellness certificate
• Must be willing to comply with any additional verification or documentation processes as the company may require.

Preferred (Added Advantage):

• Previous experience managing or creating content for a blog, gossip, or entertainment page.
• Background in journalism, media, communications, or marketing.
• Understanding of UK pop culture, politics, music, and entertainment landscape.
