Job summary
Japa Media’s mission is to provide comprehensive information on migration, relocation, settlement, and return options for Africans. It serves as an encyclopedia guiding individuals on moving abroad and settling successfully. JapaConnect is a digital platform that makes migration easier by connecting Africans abroad with new African migrants through the JapaConnect App. We are seeking a Product Manager to own the strategy, growth, and performance of the JapaConnect App, with a strong focus on user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute product strategy and roadmap
- Drive app downloads, registrations, and retention
- Work with developers and stakeholders to improve product features
- Build and manage a network of community managers
- Track and report product performance metrics
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Product Manager
- Ability to work independently with no supervision
- Strong analytical, planning, and execution skills
Performance Expectations (First 3–6 Months):
- 1,000 active members on the app within the year
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: NGN 250,000 - NGN 350,000
- Benefits: HMO, Pension
Location: Lagos
Remuneration: NGN 250,000 - 350,000
Work Mode: Hybrid (max 2 days onsite)
