Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and labeling medications accurately.
- Receive and verify prescription orders from patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Manage inventory of medications and supplies, including restocking and expiration checks.
- Guide customers on over-the-counter medications and general healthcare questions (under pharmacist supervision).
- Operate pharmacy software and POS systems to process transactions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Support quality assurance and assist in reporting errors or discrepancies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy environment.
- Participate in continuous training and development to stay updated on pharmaceutical practice.
Requirements:
- Minimum HND.
- 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
