Operational Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Set up robust operational processes for managing and tracking our accounts receivables & accounts payables; manage daily operations for these processes.
• Perform all necessary account, bank, and other reconciliations.
• Create, update, and maintain financial models and forecasts.
• Bring new insights, tools, analyses, and perspectives to drive meaningful improvements to existing business processes.
• Collaborate with leaders and teams across functional areas to navigate & find answers to important business questions.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or any related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or another similarly quantitative role.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of finance and accounting - with an ability to see the bigger picture outside the numbers
• Must have strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decisions, with expertise in Excel and GL/accounting systems (Bonus: You are comfortable with SQL, Tableau, or other similar tools)
• Must have a track record of taking onboard complex operational challenges and driving results.
• Must be a strong communicator with clear, concise, and thorough written & oral communication skills.
• Must have experience working cross-functionally to reach key business objectives, especially with teams less familiar and comfortable with finance.
• Must be comfortable in an early-stage startup (where things are constantly changing and evolving) and are eager to scale with a fast-growing business.
