Job summary
IT personnel are responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting an organization’s computer systems, networks, and technology infrastructure. They ensure systems run efficiently, securely, and with minimal downtime. This includes installing hardware and software, troubleshooting technical issues, monitoring system performance.

Responsibilities::
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, and networks
- Monitoring and maintaining IT systems and network performance
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and resolving faults
- Providing technical support to staff (onsite or remotely)
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Ensuring data security, backup, and recovery procedures are in place
- Updating systems with patches and upgrades
- Maintaining documentation of systems and processes
- Assisting in the implementation of new technologies and IT projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Previous experience in IT support or a similar role is preferred
- Hands-on experience with hardware, software, and network systems
