Inventory Cost Accountant

Our client is a renowned food and beverage manufacturing company and they are looking to to hire an Inventory Cost Accountant with minimum of five years experience in the FMCG sector.

Responsibilities

Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports, comparing budget costs to actual production costs and conduct product margin reporting and analysis for Beverages.
Carry-out financial analysis and evaluation of material costs, costs of sales and other overheads, compare actual costs to estimates, analyze variances and generate relevant information for management decision-making.
Conduct analysis of raw material and packaging standard costs for accuracy on annual basis.
Assist in the improvement of internal controls related to inventory.
Work closely with relevant process owners to obtain necessary information required for compilation, documentation and analysis of costs.
Carry out monthly stock count, analyze variances and perform reconciliation.

Requirements

First degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related discipline.
Professional Certification, e.g. ACA, ACCA, CFA, etc. is required.
Minimum of 5 years job relevant experience in any FMCG Company.
