Internal Auditor

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of the company's financial, operational and compliance controls to ensure that they are functioning effectively and efficiently.
  
• Review and analyze internal accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  
• Examine the company’s financial statements to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  
• Review and assess the company’s risk management process to ensure that the organization’s risks are being effectively managed.
  
• Conduct audits of key business processes and financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  
• Identify areas of potential fraud by analyzing financial transactions and identifying areas of potential weakness in the company's internal controls.
  
• Report audit findings and recommendations to management and the audit committee to assist in improving the company's overall operations  and financial performance.
  
• Monitor and report on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure corrective actions have been taken.
  
• Develop and execute an annual audit plan to ensure that all critical functions of the organization are audited on a regular basis.
  
• Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure that the company's audit function remains current and effective.
