Health Officer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine workplace health and safety inspections.
• Develop and implement health and wellness programs for employees.
• Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Respond promptly to workplace medical emergencies and administer first aid where necessary.
• Maintain accurate health records and incident reports.
• Coordinate medical screenings, vaccinations, and health awareness campaigns.
• Identify workplace health risks and recommend preventive measures.
• Liaise with hospitals, clinics, and regulatory agencies when necessary.
• Train staff on health, hygiene, and emergency response procedures.
• Ensure first aid kits and medical supplies are adequately stocked and maintained.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Public Health, Nursing, Environmental Health, Health Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
• Valid professional certification or license where applicable.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
