Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight: Oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant laws/regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present consolidated financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to the senior management and stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analyses of the entire holding company, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow across all subsidiaries, optimizing liquidity and supporting efficient fund allocation.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting processes and ensure alignment with overall corporate objectives.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Tax Planning and Compliance: Work closely with the tax department/Consultant to ensure proper tax planning, compliance, and timely filing of tax returns for all subsidiaries.
- Financial System Integration: Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to integrate financial systems and streamline financial reporting processes.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and propose risk mitigation strategies to protect the financial interests of the company.
- Financial Strategy: Provide valuable financial insights to support decision-making processes and contribute to the development of the overall financial strategy of the holding company.
- Audit Coordination: Facilitate external audits and act as the main point of contact with auditors for all financial matters.
- Financial Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant accounting standards, legal requirements, and corporate policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Candidate must be a Chartered Accountant
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing, preferably in a Transportation company environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with a track record of successfully leading financial teams.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving corporate environment.
- Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.
