Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee credit operations, loan processing, and portfolio management.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow the customer base and deposits.
- Ensure effective credit risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Drive loan portfolio growth while maintaining portfolio quality (low PAR).
- Lead and mentor the credit and marketing teams to achieve set targets.
- Develop innovative financial products tailored to MSMEs and retail clients.
- Build strong client relationships and partnerships to enhance business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s/CIPM/CIBN is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in credit, risk management, or marketing within a financial institution (preferably microfinance).
- Strong knowledge of microfinance operations, credit analysis, and regulatory guidelines.
- Proven track record of achieving loan growth and deposit mobilization targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- High integrity, result-oriented, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong credit analysis and risk management skills.
- Proven ability in loan portfolio management and deposit mobilization.
- Marketing, business development, and client relationship management expertise.
- Sound knowledge of microfinance operations and regulatory compliance.
