Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial operations.
- Oversee financial reporting, including the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure full compliance with tax regulations and develop effective tax planning strategies.
- Apply cost accounting principles to monitor and control production and operational costs.
- Provide strategic financial advice and insights to management for informed decision-making.
- Supervise budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Coordinate external audits and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
- Implement and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Work closely with other departments to support business goals and financial efficiency.
- Be available to work extended hours when necessary to meet reporting deadlines.
Requirements:
- ICAN-qualified accountant (membership required).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of tax administration, compliance, and planning.
- Proficient in cost accounting and financial analysis.
- Excellent financial reporting and presentation skills.
- Proven leadership and people management abilities.
- High level of discipline, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Willingness to work extended hours when required.
