The Head Management Account is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reporting financial data to support effective decision-making, financial planning, and performance management. This role plays a key part in budgeting, cost control, and internal reporting to ensure financial health and strategic alignment of the organization.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts with variance analysis.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insightful reports and commentary to management.
- Maintain cost accounting systems and monitor cost drivers across departments.
- Support strategic planning through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with department heads to track KPIs and improve financial efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions where needed.
- Assist in year-end closing and preparation of financial statements.
- Continuously improve financial reporting systems and processes.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Standard Costing
- Budgeting and Budgetary Control
- Inventory Management
- Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is required.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- At least 10 years working as a Management Accountant, preferably in a manufacturing firm (experience in a pharmaceutical company will be an added advantage)
